JANET L. FIKE, a senior associate who works part-time at Fogarty & Hara, is a graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law where she earned a Juris Doctorate degree, magna cum laude. Ms. Fike received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Connecticut with a major in special education. She subsequently received her Master's Degree in Special Education at George Mason University and a Doctorate in Educational Administration and Supervision from Seton Hall University.

Ms. Fike has published articles and given presentations on special education issues and the evaluation and supervision of staff for the New Jersey Association of School Administrators, the National Organization for Legal Problems in Education, and the Council for Exceptional Children. She served as the vice-chair of the Department of Education's Professional Teaching Standards Board and served on the Advisory Task Force on Autism. Ms. Fike is also a member of the American Association of School Administrators, New Jersey Association of School Administrators, New Jersey Association of Pupil Services Administrators (past president), New Jersey Council of Education, New Jersey School Master’s, ASCD, and Phi Delta Kappa.
